Half Pads
100% Merino lambskin half pads. Available in pony and full size, black or white quilted cotton twill with natural lambskin. Offers shock absorbtion where most of the pressure is placed under the saddle.

Half Pad - Spine free with removable padding at the back and front
The Half pad TOTAL PLUS is a spinal-canal-free pad, featuring 4 insert pockets for composite foam shims (shims supplied with the pad). Available in black cotton twill with natural lambskin.

Half Pad with Border
Full lambskin fleece against the horse, with an additional border. Available in pony and full size, black or white lining. This bordered saddle pad is our best seller based on the fact that the border frames the saddle beautifuly, and somehow seems to "finish" the saddle off. At the same time it helps to keep the saddle positioned, even on the round ponies!

Double Sided Half Pad
Saddle half pad with pure Merino lambskin on both sides; creating an extremely thick cushion between the saddle and the horses back offering great shock absorption for the horse. Providing the highest ventilation of any materials used for Equine products and helping to regulate body temperature and reduce sweat.

Treeless saddle pads
Anatomically shaped saddle pad for Treeless saddles with insert pockets left and right of the spine for shims, if required.. Composite foam shims shaped to fit, can also be supplied. This Treeless saddle pad is available in three versions, The Champ with lambskin just in the seat area only, the Special with lambskin covering the entire underside of the pad, 30mm depth in the seat area and shorn to a depth of 10mm on the panels: maximizing shock absorption in the seat area, but not compromising leg contact. And finally, The Standard, where the lambskin covers the entire underside of the saddle pad but is the same full length fleece throughout.

Endurance Pad
Saddle pad designed for the Torsion endurance saddle and similar. This pad was developed in collaboration with, Ms Annette Engler from Meinertzhagen (member of the B2 German squad of long-distance riders). Particular attention was paid to functionality, shape and design during the development work. Lambskin covers the whole of the back of this saddlepad to protect the horse completely.

We have a growing range of Western saddle pads and Seat savers. Pictured here is the Reining pad specially designed for modern reining saddles and butterfly skirts. Fully lined with Merino lambskin with 20mm depth of pile. Hard wearing twill upper with intergrated nylon protection to help prevent chafing around the girth.

Lambskin detergent
C7 Detergent for all washable sheepskin/lambskin articles and all items of clothing made from natural wool fibres.
Extends the life of your products by preventing the natural oils being stripped from the hide, as a regular detergent will. Available in 250ml or 500ml bottles

Detergent C7 - Washing instructions
It is possible to wash the lambskins in the washing machine thanks to a special tanning process. You should use a special lambskin detergent for this. We strongly recommend C7 made by CHRIST. Set your washing machine to the wool cycle at 30°C. You may add fabric softener during the last rinse. The skin can be spun and then dried in the tumble-dryer using the delicate fabrics programme.
If you do not have a dryer, lie the lambskin article out to dry with the wool side facing upwards. Avoid direct sunshine and direct heat sources. Pull the skin back into shape a number of times during the drying process. |
