Bareback Riding Pads
An innovation engineered by Christ Lammfelle of Germany, manufacturers and designers of all Horsedream products.
The bareback riding pad sets new standards in terms of riding feel and riding therapy. Tests carried out by independent expert riders and riding therapists have confirmed the positive qualities and the effect of this bareback pad on the rider and the horse.
The bareback pad allows particularly intensive riding pleasure. The closeness to the horse produces a strong bond in which the warmth and the movements of the horse can be pleasantly felt. Used with a dressage girth. This pad also has a strong loop (panic strap!) at front of pad to aid balance if required and D rings on the front of the pad to attach a breast plate if required. Like other bareback pads, it is not usually used with stirrups, however stirrup leathers can be attached to strong metal D rings on our bareback pads for better balance if required
A matching girth with lambskin in the length you require is also available as an optional extra.
All Horsedream products are made from the Highest quality Merino lambskins. Their superior density and softness ensure ideal pressure distribution and comfort. The strength of the Merino hide produces a very hardwearing and long lasting product. Lambskin products have high therapeutic values; create a general feeling of well-being, aid relaxation and promote blood circulation. The depth of pile is approx. 30mm creating a natural, breathable air cushion which helps to regulate body temperature in all weathers and reduce sweat.

Also available as a PLUS model with removable padding in the seat area, either side of the spinal canal; great for high withered horses, horses with very sensitive backs and those prone to weight loss/gain throughout the year.

Premium Bareback Pad
The Premium Bareback pad offers the same fabulous riding experience as the regular Bareback pad i.e. total comfort whilst maximising the harmony between you and your horse. Giving a natural position to you as the rider, and allowing you to feel every muscle of your horse react to your aids. The premium pad offers padded knee rolls for even better rider position, and has very strong D rings for attaching your own stirrups should you desire. This saddlepad also has the option to fit a half tree (sold separately), allowing you to mount using the stirrups, if so required.

Detergent C7 - Washing instructions
It is possible to wash the lambskins in the washing machine thanks to a special tanning process. You should use a special lambskin detergent for this. We strongly recommend C7 made by CHRIST. Set your washing machine to the wool cycle at 30°C. You may add fabric softener during the last rinse. The skin can be spun and then dried in the tumble-dryer using the delicate fabrics programme.
If you do not have a dryer, lie the lambskin article out to dry with the wool side facing upwards. Avoid direct sunshine and direct heat sources. Pull the skin back into shape a number of times during the drying process.
