1.Why is Horsedream so special?
All Horsedream products are made out of the finest, purest lambskin and are made to the highest quality specifications. Lambskins have a high therapeutic value; they promote circulation and are temperature balancing. They reduce saddle pressure and prevent the development of sores. In addition, lambskins do not provide a breeding ground for viruses and bacteria, and they neutralize acids and odours and are naturally dirt resistant. They are easy care and hard wearing. Our lambskin products (unlike some) have been practically designed to easily withstand normal washing in the machine and even tumble drying!
All our Horsedream products have been produced by Christ Lamfelle in Germany under strict quality controls, by a tannery which has won a great many awards for environmental protection and has been established and held in high regard since 1954.
2. Why Magnetic therapy?
Magnetic Therapy has long been recognised as a natural, non invasive and highly effective method of enhancing the healing process (as used by Cleopatra!), it is well reported to offer pain relief from many chronic and debilitating conditions, it reduces bruising and swelling, and can calm and relax aggravated areas. How it works; The body temperature rises thanks to the expansion of the blood vessels within the area of the magnetic field. The oxygen content in the blood increases and the metabolism increases. Moreover, the magnetic fields have a soothing effect on the nervous system and can break up pain blocks.
3. What is so special about lambskin?
Lambskin is a natural product, it is fully breathable, suitable for both summer and winter use and is excellent from a hygiene point of view as it is naturally bacteria resistant. Horsedream lambskins have been carefully created to be very easy care and involve no more and, if anything, less work than equestrian products made from other substances. The softness of the lambskin against the horses skin will help the horse to feel comfortable, take away any pressure from the saddle or bridle, and encourage the horse to move freely. It will help to prevent sweating or rubbing, and aid the horse in its ability to perform and respond to the rider, feeling only what you want the horse to feel i.e. you, the rider!, and not uneven pressure from the tack.
4. You say its easy care, well, how easy?
Put it this way, if only every woollen jumper you purchased was as easy to look after as this! We know riding horses gets everything grubby and sweaty. Well just air your Horsedream products, and it will be fine! However, if after tramping through mud you feel you need to wash your product. Simply pop it in the machine wash at 30 degrees on a wool wash and tumble dry afterwards (we do recommend our shampoo). If you don’t want to tumble dry, then stretch the product out flat to dry. Reshape the product several times through the drying process. It’s very easy!
5. My daughter would like a numnah for her birthday, but you don’t have pony size in the style she wants?
We don’t get a huge call for pony size products, however, please feel free to contact us, as nothing is impossible! We can most likely get it made up for you, but we will need about 28 days notice! We don’t usually have any extra charge for this service.
6.How quickly can you get my delivery to me?
As long as we have the product in stock, please allow 7 days for delivery. However if we do not have your specific order in stock we will contact you within 24 hours to let you know how long delivery will be, it is usually in that case within 21 days. Delivery will require a signature when it arrives with you.
